PARCEL SHIPMENTS

The following charges are applied to all parcel shipments.
 

Our Standard UK Mainland shipping charge is £4.50 (exc. VAT).

Free shipping is applied for all orders over £60.00 (exc. VAT).

International shipping charges are set based on parcel weight, size and destination.

 

Shipping charges are automatically calculated in the shopping cart.

PALLET SHIPMENTS

For larger shipments, either UK Mainland or International, pallet shipments may be the safest (and often cheapest) way of transporting products, particularly for creams and gels, which may otherwise be susceptible to damage in transit.

An additional charge of £30.00 (exc. VAT) will be applied for all UK Mainland Pallet Shipments on orders under £400.00 GBP. We will contact you if this applies. This is a nominal charge and does not cover the full cost of the pallet shipment incurred by Oils4life Limited. International Pallet Shipments are charged at cost + 10%.

Special delivery requests, such as tail-lift delivery, morning delivery, weekend delivery etc., may be available, however, these will incur additional charges, charged at cost + 10%.

IMPORTANT

Orders are usually dispatched within 3 to 5 working days (not including the date of order). We will dispatch your order as soon as we can. In the event of a potentially excessive delay in dispatching your order (over 10 working days) we will notify you by email. 

Parcels (weighing less than 2kg) are usually sent by Royal Mail Tracked. Parcels weighing more than 2kg will be sent by Courier (i.e. RDM/APC, UPS or Hermes). High value orders or delivery locations with reported problems (i.e. high frequency of parcel loss) will be sent by courier.

 

The majority of the parcels we dispatch will not fit through a letter box and therefore someone will need to be present at time of delivery to receive the parcel. Royal Mail or the nominated Courier will post an 'attempted delivery card' through your letter box in the event that you are not home at the time of delivery.

 

You will need to contact Royal Mail or Courier to organise redelivery or possibility of collection from a local depot. A redelivery charge, equivalent to the original shipping charge (or a minimum of £4.50 (exc. VAT) for free shipping orders) will be payable for any parcels returned to us, where Royal Mail or Courier advises us that you have not attempted collection of the parcel from their depot within the set period. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

We are unable to honour any special requests for delivery entered during the online checkout (i.e. leave behind the bin or deliver to a neighbour etc. if not in).

A signature may be required on delivery.

Customers are responsible for paying all import charges / taxes that apply in the country of delivery. In the event that customers refuse to pay these charges, Oils4life will have the right to either instruct the courier/agent to destroy the goods or return the goods to Oils4life in the UK. Any refund payable to the customer will include a deduction for the full costs associated with the destruction or return of goods + 10%. Restocking fees up to 25% are also applicable for returned goods.

Further Information

For multi-product shipments the maximum parcel weight is 15kg, which we have found to be a manageable weight for staff and couriers to handle, without risking injury. The maximum weight for single item shipments is 25kg (i.e. a 25kg drum).

RETURNS POLICY

We hope that you will never find reason to return a product, however, we acknowledge that from time to time this may arise.

Before contacting us about your return please read the following information. If you cannot find the answer to your query in the list below, please contact us for further guidance.

Returns policy

At Oils4life we want you to be completely happy with your purchase, so if for any reason you are not 100% satisfied we are happy to offer a refund, exchange or replacement on any item returned to us within thirty days of your receipt of goods, provided they are still in their original packaging, undamaged and in an unused condition.

Whilst we understand that you may need to open a product to evaluate the fragrance, for reasons of hygiene and safety we are unable to accept the return of any product that has been used. All returned goods will be closely examined upon receipt in accordance with our policy.

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part we will be happy to refund all delivery charges incurred. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges and the costs of any other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.

Returns are only accepted up to a period of 30-days from the date of delivery. We cannot accept returns after 30-days.

Returning a product

Should you wish to exchange or return an item, you must first email us and provide details of the reason for the return. We will then be able to advise on the most appropriate action, of course, taking in to account your wishes.

To return an item, please enclose your brief note outlining the reason for the return, wrap the package securely and post it to us. You will need to include your packing slip if the return is due to an error on our part.

You will need to ensure that your return goods are packaged safely, since we are unable to offer refunds on returns that have been damaged in any way during transit. We cannot accept liability for packages lost or damaged during transit, therefore you are advised to send your package by recorded delivery, registered post or courier. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery.

Refunds

We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've safely received, checked and processed the returned item(s) according to our policy, above. If you are returning an item that was not due to an error on our part, the cost of shipping that item to you will be deducted from your refund. In the unlikely event that you wish to return an entire order through no fault on our part, the full cost of documentation, packing and shipping of the original order will be deducted from your refund.

You will be notified of this cost at the earliest opportunity. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 10 business days of our receiving your returned item(s).

 

Import duties

International orders are very likely to be subject to import duties, levied by the destination country, once your order arrives in your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne fully by you since we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If you are in any way unsure please contact your local customs office.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country and you must contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to pay any such charges and your order is returned to Oils4life Limited, you will be charged for all costs incurred in connection with this return plus our original shipping charge to your address.
