Avocado oil (refined) - Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil

Avocado oil has emollient, antibacterial, anti-oxidant, UV absorbing and hydrating properties. It is especially beneficial for dry, dehydrated and inflamed skin and has a reputation of having a higher degree of penetration into the epidermis than most carrier oils. Avocado oil has a moisturising and softening effect on the skin. It consists principally of the triglycerides of fatty acids.

Avocado is a tree belonging to the Lauraceae family, growing up to 20 metres high. This self-pollinating tree produces dark green-skinned fruit. 

Origin: Avocado oil originates from South Africa 

Method of Extraction: Avocado oil is obtained by pressing and refining the flesh of Persea gratissima.

Shelf life: 24 months.
