Ensuring Quality

At Oils4life we take the quality of essential oils very seriously. We only offer 100% Pure Essential Oils which haven't been tampered with in any way.

In order to ensure our pure essential oils are of the finest quality, we have established close working relationships with suppliers, producers and growers confirming the conditions the plants are grown in are acceptable. Essential oil quality is strongly influenced by the climates, seasonal changes, growing conditions and even growing techniques, therefore we actively seek the best essential oils throughout the world.

In brief our quality control procedures include:
# Gaining assurances on the processes used for quality control from suppliers, growers and producers
# Gaining assurances that the correct botanical name has been used in growing
# Use of GC/MS testing methodology to confirm product purity
# Checking the odour of the oil has the correct characteristics
# Checking the oil visually for proper distillation

How can we offer our essential oils at such low prices?

Buying the most expensive essential oils does not guarantee you the best quality - but it does guarantee that those selling you the essential oils will be making huge profits! These companies might try to convince you that buying cheaper essential oils is risky. Let me assure you that we source many of our essential oils from the same suppliers, producers and growers as those companies selling at higher prices - the only risk is that you will have less money left in your pocket after making your purchase!

At Oils4life we are committed to making aromatherapy affordable and accessible to all. We do not have huge profit margins. We keep our prices as low as possible to ensure that you get the highest quality essential oils at great value for money. Oils4life is a family run business operating with low overheads - our pricing structure enables our business to grow steadily.

How "Fresh" are our products?

As our products are such great value we have a high turnover of oils. As a result of this you can be assured our oils are always "fresh" and pure. We regularly test our stocks for any discrepancies in quality and consistency. Our entire bottling process is done by hand; we use no machines to bottle the oils, this allows us to continually monitor the products and gives you the quality only hand bottling can ensure.

No essential oil batch is ever more than 1 month old. We check throughout the life of the oil that there is no degradation in quality. Oils are stored in a temperature controlled room, in dark cupboards to ensure their stability and quality.

Product batch numbering

All products purchased from Oils4life will be supplied with a unique batch number which provides complete traceability back to the supplier, grower and/or producer.
